Mineral Salts

MINERALS constitute up to 5% of an animal live weight and are essential for the health of ALL species. Whenever there is a lack or a deficiency of a mineral, the productivity is affected and chronic deseases may develop; then, the production costs raise significantly higher than those of a correctly supplemented diet.

In livestock, minerals are used as a vehicle for vegetable pigments and vitamin premixes, as well as pelletizing agents. In addition, there are minerals such as zeolite, which - due to its adsorption and cation exchange capacity - retains toxic compounds and moisture, favoring the optimal development of livestock.
